Timothy George Hackmann Obituary

Timothy George Hackmann, 58, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2020 at his home.

Timothy was born in Washington, Missouri on December 27, 1962, the son of the George & Anna Mae (Elsenraat) Hackmann.

He was the husband of Sarah (Scheer) Hackmann.  They were united in marriage on December 10, 1988, at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Haven, Missouri. 

Timothy was a member of St. George Church, Hermann.  He worked for Mike Grotewiel Construction for 33 years.

Timothy is survived by his mother, Anna Mae Hackmann, of Hermann, Missouri;  his wife, Sarah Hackmann, of the home; his three children, Corby Faerber & husband Adam and Cameron & Seth Hackmann, all of Hermann, Missouri; a sister, Sara Bruckerhoff & husband Curt, of Hermann, Missouri; a granddaughter, Ravyn Faerber, his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Larry & Carolyn Scheer, of New Haven, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Mike Scheer & wife Jerine, of Washington, Missouri; and Kyle Scheer & wife Amy, of Ashland, Missouri; by nieces and nephews, Cullen Bruckerhoff & wife Beth, of Hermann, Missouri; Brenna Panhorst & husband Brandon, of Berger, Missouri; Nathan Scheer & wife Kelsey, of Washington, Missouri; Erica King & husband Steve, of Washington, Missouri; Riley, Maguire, Reganne, and Jo Scheer, all of Ashland, Missouri; and by many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father George Hackmann.

Timothy enjoyed watching his children play sports, working in his wood shop, doing home remodeling projects for his family members, going deer hunting and gardening.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 24th from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

A funeral mass will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Church, Hermann, with Rev. Msgr. Gregory Higley officiating.  Burial will be at St. George Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Hermann Athletic Boosters, St. George Athletic Dept. or Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
