<p>Mack Daniel Glover, Jr. age 91 of Akron, AL., passed away on January 22, 2021.Services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Akron, AL. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will have a visitation with friends following the graveside service. Danny and Dale Glover will be officiating.&nbsp;</p> <p>Mr. Glover was preceded in death by his wife, Helen B. Glover; parents, Mack O. Glover, Sr. and Lottie Stringfellow Glover and one sister, Alice Glover Dana.</p> <p>He is survived by his sons, Daniel Keith Glover(Belinda) and Marvin D. Glover(Jana); grandchildren, Brandi G. Hall, Samantha G. Hartley, Kendall Glover Dobyns, Elizabeth G. Wilkerson, Kelsey G. Klein and 10 great grandchildren.&nbsp;</p> <p>Mack was born in Akron, Ohio and February 28, 1929 and moved to Akron, Alabama in 1934. He served in the Army 7th Infantry Division during the Korean War. After the war, he married Hellen Ballard and resided in Akron, Alabama. Mack was retired from Reichold Chemical after 30 years of service, then worked as manager of the Greensboro Farmer&#39;s Co-Op for 7 years. Mack was a faithful member and deacon of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.&nbsp;</p> <p>Pallbearers will be Phil Ballard, Tim Harris, Rusty Hall, Mike Hartley, Derrick Dobyns, Whitt Wilkerson and Brad Klein.</p> <p>Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hamrick Highland benevolence fund In Memory of Mack Glover.</p>
