Milo L. Fisher

Age 87, of East Canton passed away Thursday January 21, 2021 in Aultman Hospital. He was born May 27, 1933 in Robertsville, OH to the late James G. and Leora (Aukerman) Fisher. Milo was a 1953 graduate of East Canton High School and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He retired from The Timken Company in 1995 after 20 years of service as an executive driver, he continued his employment on a part-time basis for an additional 10 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda J. Callahan; one brother and sister-in-law, James W. and Jean Fisher; one niece, Jill Greathouse. Milo is survived by his wife, Donna M. (Curren) to whom he married April 3, 1954; one son, Bruce E. (April) Fisher of Randleman, NC; son-in-law, John Callahan; three grandsons, Bruce E. II (Stephanie) Fisher, Andrew J. (Emily) Anthony and Michael W. (Rebecca) Fisher; step-grandson, Steve (Maria) Callahan; two great-grandsons, Michael W. II and Owen Fisher; special friends, David Varian and Bill Collins. A private family service will be conducted in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with burial to follow in Mapleton Cemetery. Memorial donations in Milo’s memory may be made to the East Canton Boys Cross Country Team, checks payable to East Canton Boys Cross Country, mailed to East Canton High School, 310 Browning St., East Canton, OH 44730.
