<p>Barbara passed peacefully from this life on the evening of Friday, January 15, 2021. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. Barbara was born on October 8, 1928, in Montclair, NJ to parents, James and Dorothy Spain.</p> <p>Barbara attended Hillside Elementary School, Glenfield MiddleSchool and graduated from Montclair High School. After working for many years at Mountainside Hospital, She pursued her passion for caring for others and became a Licensed Practical Nurse at Essex County Hospital in Cedar Grove, NJ.</p> <p>Barbara was blessed to find love twice. She was joined in holy matrimony to Allen Jones and later married John Turner Hayes.</p> <p>Barbara was predeceased by Michelle Hunter, Allen WayneJones, Howard Jones, Dorothy Rameteke and Steven Jones, and Tracy Hayes.&nbsp;&nbsp;She leaves to mourn, her daughter, Valerie Smith;&nbsp;son, John Hayes;&nbsp;sister, Jean Jenkins;&nbsp;and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.</p>

Obituary

Barbara passed peacefully from this life on the evening of Friday, January 15, 2021. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. Barbara was born on October 8, 1928, in Montclair, NJ to parents, James and Dorothy Spain.

Barbara attended Hillside Elementary School, Glenfield MiddleSchool and graduated from Montclair High School. After working for many years at Mountainside Hospital, She pursued her passion for caring for others and became a Licensed Practical Nurse at Essex County Hospital in Cedar Grove, NJ.

Barbara was blessed to find love twice. She was joined in holy matrimony to Allen Jones and later married John Turner Hayes.
