Harold Mooney, age 82, of Canton, GA passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Saturday, January 23, 2021, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Green, and Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at McHelen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 22, 2021, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at South Canton Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by, Wife: Helen Mooney, Parents: Alfred and Zonie Mooney, Brothers: Melvin Mooney, Rev. Clyde Mooney, Hubert Mooney, Charles Mooney and Eugene Mooney, Sisters: Ruby Blanton and Geneva Perkins Survivors include: Daughter - Renita (Dan) Bryant Son - Raymond (Wanda) Mooney Grand Daughter - Madison (Jonah) Dupree Grand Son - Dawson Mooney Grand Daughter - Josie Mooney Sister - Ernestine Mooney Brother - Cecil Mooney Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. I worked with Harold in field service at Cat where Harold was the best welder , somtimes he would have to be mechanic so one day we, me ( David) and Harold had to go and put a transmission in a scraper pan ,we drove up immediatly got stuck ,managed to hang the transm... Continue Reading
