James Carl Little, Jr.

Mr. James Carl Little Jr. passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare. Age 59 years. He was born on September 30, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan to Leola Beal and James Little, Sr. James was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He was educated in the Saginaw Public Schools system and was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1979. James accepted Christ at an early age and united with Candlelight Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Jimmie L. Simington. James enlisted in the U.S. Army and retired as Sergeant First Class after 20 years of dedicated service. His hobbies included dancing, playing cards and dominoes, spending time with family, talking smack, cooking, bowling, and watching movies. James’ last 12 years (1989-2001) were spent working for the White House Communications Agency. After his retirement, James held numerous administrative and supervisory positions with various companies including Zimmerman Associates, Chenega Corporation, and Millennium Corporation. James leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Jamir Kenta Grady-Riley and Jykeel Tainar Little; grandchildren, Jamir Grady, Jr., Jonathan Clay, Jaylani Little-Leon, Jayden, Jaylen, Jamarion and James Grady; his parents, Leola (Bobby) Beal; sisters, Almira(Terry) Jones, Kattie Mae Little, Cynthia Donald Little, One brother Elree Branch, Step sisters Lynn (Alonzo) Betts, Sabrina Branch and Vanessa Hood; Step brother Robert Matthews; many nieces and nephews; aunts, Viola (John) Torrence, Bertha Turner, Willa Marselis (Jeffery) uncles, Craig (CiJi) Young, Clarence (Mable) Young and Nathaniel (Linda)Young, many cousins, other relatives and friends. James was preceded in death by his father, James Little, Sr., Grandparents Essie (Rev Will Branch), Bertha (Craig Young Sr), Aunt Annie (Wallace) Anderson, Aunt Idell (Russel) William, Sister Elnora Little, Nephew Allin Kenta Little and Stepmother Barbra Branch, and mother-in-law Odessa Grady. The family would like to express special thanks to Regina Grady, Carl Mosley, Ivan E.
