<p>Ray Hatch, 66, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.</p> <p>Born Thursday, January 20, 1955, he was the son of Shirley Rose Surratt Hatch and the late Elgon Ray Hatch, Sr.&nbsp; He was employed by Newbern Police Department.and a member of the East Dyer County Volunteer Fire Department and Dyer County Rescue Squad.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral services for Mr. Hatch will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home Officiating this service will be Rev. Scotty Sewell.&nbsp; Interment will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery.&nbsp; Visitation for Mr. Hatch will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2021.</p> <p>He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Timothy Ray Hatch (Melissa) of Trenton, Tennessee; two daughters, Wendy Michelle Scott (Terry) of Humboldt, Tennessee and Tiffany Dawn Chance (Keith) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his mother, Shirley Rose Surratt Hatch of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Sonia Ann Clark (Roger) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, and he was &quot;Papa Ray&quot; to his eight grandchildren; Torrye Scott, Miranda Scott, Trevor Scott, Baylin Chance, Kloie Doolin, Mason Hatch, Harley Chance and Emilee Fair and a host of&nbsp; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.</p> <p>In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one sister, Deborah K. Kent and one nephew, Scott Wilson.</p> <p>Honoring Mr. Hatch as pallbearers will be Michael Wilson, Kane Wilson, Eddie Warren, Marty Balthrop, Jason&nbsp;Klutts, William Capps, Curt Parham and Jason McKean.&nbsp; Honorary pallbearers will be&nbsp; Trevor Scott, Baylin Chance and Mason Hatch.</p> <p>Online condolences may be made to the family at johnsonwilliamsfuneralhome.com.&nbsp; Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ray Hatch.</p>
