Mrs. Nina Bernice Fennell, age 78, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born on March 28, 1942 in Lumber City, GA, to her late parents; Bernice and Lillian Mullins Camp. Mrs. Fennell spent the greater part of her life in Rockmart and was a longtime, faithful member of Springdale Baptist Church. Nina loved going on trips and shopping, but most importantly she loved spending time with her wonderful family and friends who she cherished dearly. Mrs. Fennell was a joy to be around, and loved being able to make everyone happy and smile! Nina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Fennell retired in 2000 from Engineered Fabrics. Mrs. Fennell is survived by her loving husband, Edward (Junior) Fennell of Rockmart, GA, to whom she was married on February 14, 1959; children: Susan Akins and her husband, Buster of Rockmart, GA, Wayne Fennell and his wife, Michelle of Rockmart, GA, Larry Fennell and his wife, Yvonne of Rockmart, GA, 9 grandchildren: Andrea Crews and her husband, Jamey, Heather Graham, Amber Ellis, Courtney Ingram and her husband, Ty, Kevin Elsberry, Josh Elsberry and his wife, Lauryn, Peyton Elsberry, Misty Pope and her husband, Jack and Kenneth Akins and his wife, Halie, 15 great-grandchildren, sister, Frances Fennell of Rockmart, GA, brother, Joe Camp and his wife, Diane of Rockmart, GA,; aunt and uncle, Kayo and Avalee Mullins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Fennell will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Springdale Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sam Leggett and Rev. Bobby McDowell officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Richard Fennell, Josh Elsberry, Ty Ingram, Jamey Crews, Hayden Gibson and Don Anderson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Peyton Elsberry and Cooper Wilson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for a visitation on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
