Albert "TED" W. Parris Obituary

ALBERT “TED” PARRIS, 92, of Jacksonville passed away on January 21, 2021 at his residence. Graveside service will be held Saturday, January 23 at 2:00 PM from Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. William Cain officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Pruitt, Jamie Pruitt, Christian Ivey, Brian Boozer, Tommy Munn, and Greg Morgan.

Born in Calhoun County, he was a retired poultry and cattle farmer, loving husband, and the most wonderful Dad to his kids that anyone could ever ask for. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie and Edith Hit Parris; wife: Juanese Couch Parris; son in law: Daniel P. Sanford; brother: Charles Cecil Parris; and sisters: Ruby Parris and Lorene Angles.

He is survived by his daughter: Frances Parris Sanford; son: Donnie W. Parris and wife, Lucretia; one granddaughter and two great grandchildren; brother: Marvin “OG” Parris and wife, Barbara.  

The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Michael Herndon and Amedisys Hospice, Susan and Tammy.

As per the State Mandate, Social Distancing and Masks will be requested for those attending the service.
