Jean René Drinkwalter Billings, Montana Obituary

Jean René Drinkwalter

Jean René Drinkwalter, 77, was born to Orville and Marguerite Thompson in Miles City, MT on June 8, 1944. She passed away peacefully at 2:21am on January 20, 2021, in the care of Compassus Hospice in Billings, MT, and with her children Ken, Jacob, and Patty by her side. Jean met and married the ultimate joy in her life and her lifelong partner and friend, Neil W. Drinkwalter on February 14, 1981. Jean was stuck in her way and very stubborn, but her passion of taking care of family whatever their needs made her very happy. Jean’s other longtime passion was dealing in Billings’ antique community, which took her to garage and estate sales, resulting in excitement at finding rare and unique articles and discovering their history. Jean is survived by her siblings: Helen Scotson, Kenneth Thompson and Raenell Thompson; five children; and multiple grand kids; her sons: Ken B. Morris and his wife and children, Max Drinkwalter and his wife and children, Ryan Drinkwalter and his wife and children, and Jacob O. Morris and daughter, and Patty Reynard and her husband and children. It is with the grace of a few tender hands that Jean went in peace and was in first class care. Special care is hard to find in this unforgiveable world but, Sammy Willoughby was there and took great care of Mother. You are a true care giver, Thank You.
