SUMMERTON – Leena Bhupen Patel, 54, wife of Bhupen “Bob” Chhitubhai Patel, died Thursday, January 21, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her home. Born November 25, 1966, in Gujarat, India, she was the daughter of Gulab Kuverji Patel and Narmada Motibhai Patel. Her bubbly personality, zest for life, delicious food, and selfless, giving heart will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her infectious smile will live on forever. She is survived by her husband of Summerton and her parents of Dallas, TX; a son, Ravi Patel of Charleston; a daughter, Sonam Cogdill (Cameron) of Summerton; a brother, Rajiv Patel (Mamta) of Dallas, TX; two nieces, Ria and Ruhi; her very best friend, Sheela Bivek (Arun) of Summerton; two special children, Preea Patel (Akin) and Shaneel Bivek; and a special grandchild, Zara.
