Oscar was born on April 4, 1951 in Williamson, West Virginia and went Home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2021 at the age of 69; he was of Taylor. Cherished husband of 30 years to Jackie (nee: Noah). Loving dad of Hannah Holley. Dearest brother of Jack (Becky) Holley, Pastor Dot Holley and Candra Daugherty. Dearest brother-in-law of Ronald (Paulette) Noah, Debra (Gary) Stevens and the late Donald and to his wife Charlene Noah. Devoted son (in-law) of Geraldine Noah and the late Don Noah. Also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and many friends. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Freddy Holley and three sisters Bobbie Staton, Ruth Mounts and Geraldine Daugherty. He will be missed by his dogs Buddy, Harley and Mela. His family was his love in life and he loved his Lord. He was an active and dedicated member and Deacon at Worshippers and Warriors of Christ Ministry in Taylor. Anyone that knows Oscar knows that he had a great love for fishing. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 3 pm – 6 pm and on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 10 am until the time of the service on Monday at 11 am; all will be at Restoration Pointe Church of God, 11501 Allen Rd., Southgate, Michigan 48195; Pastor Dot Holley and Rev. Ronald D. Mounts will officiate. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Romulus Community Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor his life may be made as the donor chooses. Oscar’s family has requested that everyone be required to wear a mask and observe social distancing at all times.
