On January 19, 2021 Helen Ivy Svedberg passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Edson Continuing Care Center at the age of 96.

 Helen was born April 7, 1924 in Yates Alberta, to Jonas and Susanne Johnson, the youngest of 12 children.

Helen has resided in the Edson area for most of her life.

 Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are her children; son Erick Svedberg of Edson, daughter Carole (Eric) Stewart of Charlottetown P.E.I., son Gerald (Linda) Svedberg of Edson and son Brian Svedberg of Edmonton. 11 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren

 Helen was predeceased by her husband Oscar, son Warren, grandson Dean, daughter in law Erna and her 11 siblings.

 A private family funeral will be held Saturday January 23, 2021 @ 2:00 pm at the Woodland Cemetery in Carrot Creek, AB.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
