Dorothy Louise (House) Claybourn, age 49 of Tulsa, passed from this life Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Tulsa. Dorothy was born April 29, 1971 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Earl Dewayne House and Peggy Irene (Sperry) House. She attended Charles Page High School and married Richard Claybourn Jr. on February 25, 1989 in Tulsa. Dorothy worked in retail at Albertsons for 14 years and Joe's Gas and Grocery for 15 years. Dorothy loved reading, writing, spending time with her children, cooking, and collecting cast iron. Dorothy was loved by everyone that met her and everyone in her neighborhood. She was a kind, gentle soul that was a mother figure to many children who knew her. Customers that came in Joe's will always remember how much she smiled and how much she loved everyone. She is survived by her three children; daughter, Jordan Claybourn of Tulsa, and two sons, Jeremy Claybourn and Jeffrey Claybourn of Tulsa; father, Earl Dewayne House and wife Charlotte House of Broken Arrow; a sister, Cindy House and her husband Chris Brashar of Tulsa; two stepbrothers, Robert Chambers and Richey Strain; father-in-law, Richard Claybourn; stepsister, Rhonda Musick; brother-in-law, Brian Claybourn of Tulsa; several nieces and nephews, three grand nieces, two grand dogs and two grand cats. Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy House; her stepmother, Nina (Chambers) House; her husband, Richard Claybourn, Jr and her mother-in-law, Vivian Claybourn.
