<p>A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Roswell for Arlen Linnell Turner, age 84 of Roswell, who passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 in his daughter&rsquo;s home of Roswell.</p> <p>&nbsp;Arlen was born September 19, 1936 in Wentworth Location, New Hampshire to Odian and Alice Linnell</p> <p>Turner of Wentworth Location, New Hampshire. He married Dorothy Ann Aikens of Berlin, New Hampshire on January 16, 1954 in Colebrook, New Hampshire. Arlen was preceded in death by his parents, Odian and Alice Turner, a brother Wendell Turner, his wife of 48 years, Dorothy Ann Turner and a granddaughter, Towry Lynn Carlyle.</p> <p>Survivors include his daughter, Debra Terrell and her husband Glenn of Lemoore, California; daughter, Janet Carlyle and her husband Billy, of Roswell, New Mexico; and his son, Lynn Turner and his wife Becky of Crosbyton, Texas. Other Survivors are his 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Trent and Scott Terrell, Turner Carlyle, Bryson Turner and wife Autumn, Kaley Turner Young and husband Austin, and his 4 great grandchildren, Madison Ball, McKenna Pescatore, Gracelyn Carlyle, and Decklan Turner.</p> <p>Arlen is also survived by 2 brothers, Richard Turner of Edgewater, Florida, and Ronald Turner of Winthrop, Massachusetts, 3 sisters, Midget Romano of Edgewater, Florida, Beverly Jennings of Roswell, New Mexico and Faye Pritchard of Auburn, New York as well as multiple nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Arlen has been a resident of Roswell, New Mexico for 62 years. He was stationed here in the Air Force during the Vietnam war and loved Roswell so much, he made this his permanent home when the base shut down. Arlen was a lifelong member of the Roswell Sertoma Club, devoting many years to their service in the community. He was the co-owner of the Turner-Hurford Printing company for many years before retiring. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in June 2015 by the Leadership Roswell, voted a citizen of the month by the American Bank along with multiple awards and achievements while serving in the Roswell Sertoma Club. Arlen has been a member of First Baptist Church of Roswell for many years.</p>

 Arlen was born September 19, 1936 in Wentworth Location, New Hampshire to Odian and Alice Linnell
