Lawrence Jones

February 1, 1956 ~ January 21, 2021 (age 64)

Lawrence Edward Jones was born February 1, 1956 in Middleton, Tn, to the later Homer Jones and Rosie Nell Turner - Jones. 

His graveside service was held on Saturday January 30, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with Pastor Gene Bowden and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com in charge of the professional service.

He graduated from Bolivar Central High School and after he attended some years in college at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tn. 

Early in Life, lawrence accepted Christ as his personal Savior at Bowden Hill CME Church. 

Lawrence was a professional mover, driver and caregiver. He deeply enjoyed spending time with his friends. His demeanor was strong, his smile was captivating,  heart was gentle and spirit was kind. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ann E. Jones and a brother, Levon J. Jones.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories: his children; daughter, Shanell Jones; son, Christopher Jones, four grandsons; Kaylon Webb, Christopher Jones, Khali Jones, and Cadence ( Helen) Jones,; sisters: Nancy Caroline Jones - Woolfork, Debra J. Jones - Dailey and Vonda D. Jones- Fountain; brother; Homer Charles Jones, Jr.; aunts: Dorothy, Ruth, and Emogene; uncle: Ray, a devoted niece; Solone Deese and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
