Clarence T. Hoover, age 96 of Delta Junction, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at his home due to natural causes.

Clarence was born on December 3, 1924 in West Hartford, CT. He served his Country honorably in the US Navy from April 1942-February 1954 serving in both World War II and Korea. He also served honorably in the US Air Force from January 1956-July 1971 serving in Vietnam. He served in the US Air Force Reserves from 1971-1974 and retired from Westover ARB in July of 1971. Clarence was married to Nancy Caparella on February 9, 1958 in West Palm Beach, FL. Clarence was an aircraft mechanic/technician/inspector for the US Air Force retiring after 26 years. He also retired from General Electric in 1990 from the Ordinance Division in Pittsfield, MA. After his retirement in 1990, he fulfilled his dream, with Nancy, to move to Alaska.

Clarence is survived by his son, Cliffard Hoover of Custer, SD, his daughter and son in law, Lynda and Dennis Burke of Delta Junction, grandson, George Norton III of Springfield, MA, granddaughters, Alexandra Hoover of Hudson, NY and Samantha Hoover of Great Barrington, MA. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, son, Craig Hoover, and infant sister, Elizabet Hoover.
