Geraldine S. Sickley Obituary

 Geraldine S. Sickley, age 88, of Streator passed away Thursday morning, (January 21, 2021) at her home.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator with Monsignor Philip Halfacre, officiating. 

  Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30 AM Tuesday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator with the rosary recited at 8:45 A.M. 

  Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Leonore. Cremation rites have been accorded.

  Mrs. Sickley was born, June 23, 1932 in Streator, the daughter of Edwin and Nellie (Sparling) Wallin.  She married Donald Sickley, April 24, 1954 in Granville.

  She is survived by her husband Don, two daughters, Kathleen Payne, Milford, Oregon and Sandra (Gary) Reed, Manville, two sons, Steven and John Sickley both of Streator, four grandchildren, Joseph (Ja‘Nane) Reed, Princeville, Joshua (Patsy) Reed, Utah, Kayla (Jeremiah) Funk, Oregon, Nathan (Oat) McNeese, California and three great grandchildren, Karter and Sydney Reed, Utah and Amira McNeese, Utah and a sister-in-law, Kathy Wallin, Ottawa.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, Gerald and brothers, Perry and Kenneth Wallin and sisters, Evelyn Burress , Marie Jeffrey and Vickey Faletti.

  Geraldine had been employed at the former Westclox Company in Peru and retired from St. Mary’s Hospital working in the laundry. 

  She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and Owen-Illinois Glass Co. Auxiliary.
