Lois M. Patterson

Lois M. (Morgan) Patterson, 93 years old of Collinsville, IL, passed away on January 21, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL. Lois was born in Gillespie, IL and was the last surviving of ten children. She married Charles E. Patterson in 1952 and went on to raise five children. Lois was proud to be a volunteer in the auxiliary at Anderson Hospital for many years. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, all siblings and a son Frank M. Patterson. Lois is survived by and dearly missed by three daughters, Terry (Leo) Hulcer, Peggy (John) Forrest, Tammy Patterson and one son Charles E. (Diane) Patterson, Jr. and former son-in-law Tom Hoppes. Lois is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no visitation. Lois was laid to rest with a private graveside service at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements were handled by Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home, Collinsville.
