Alma Louise (Mayse) Kistler was born on January 6, 1933 in Osage County, to James R Mayse and Letha Forbes Mayse. She passed from this life on January 20, 2021. Louise attended 1st-6th grade at Duff Grade School South of Pawnee. She graduated from Pawnee High School in 1951 where she was a member of FHA. She married Alf Kistler on June 24, 1952 in the home of Rev.Hitt in Pawnee,Ok. Louise worked for Munsingwear as an operator, Emily Mills and the Oklahoma Turnpike. Louise and Alf made their home in Pawnee for 46 years before Alf’s passing. Louise enjoyed raising cattle, gardening, feeding birds, and shooting armadillos on the home place. Most of all she enjoyed time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When her health allowed she enjoyed attending their sporting events. She was affiliated with the Pawnee First Baptist Church. Louise is preceded in death by her husband Alf Kistler, her parents, one brother James Mayse, one sister Doris Smith and one infant sister Erma Gene Mayse. She is survived by her three children, daughter Patty and son-in-law Royce Brien of Pawnee, Ok; daughter Jeanie Cope of Perkins, Ok; son Steven Bo Kistler and daughter-in-law Heather of Pawnee, Ok. 8 grandchildren: Feather and Jeff Jones of Piedmont, Ok; Zach Cope of Perkins, Ok; Haley Duren of Oklahoma City, Ok; Talon Kistler of Dewey, Ok; Paisley Kistler of Pawnee, Ok; Charity McPeek of Pawnee, Ok; Brandi and Justin Mashurn of Fairfax, Ok; Kandi and Ryan Lauder of Leedey, Ok. 8 great grandchildren: Ryder and Brenner Jones of Piedmont, Ok, Aubry and Caylin Mashburn of Fairfax, Ok, Kayden Chapman and Maylin Lauder of Leedey, Ok, Cale and Emmie McPeek of Pawnee, Ok, and one sister Carol Jean Warren of Mulvane, KS. In lieu of flowers the family asks that if you wish to make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma Chapter 2448 E 81st St. #3000 Tulsa, Ok 74137.
