Michael E. Watson LOVELAND, Ohio Obituary

Michael E. Watson

It is with great sadness that we share that Michael E. Watson, age 75, of Walton, Kentucky passed away peacefully on January 21st surrounded by his family. Mike was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the son Of Anne (Watson) and George Smith. Mike grew up in West Chester, Ohio and graduated from Lakota High School in 1964. Mike was a veteran of the US Navy and served his country during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service, Mike became a Union Ironworker for 35 years and retired in 2002. Mike loved gardening, riding his quad at the farm, and spending time in his "man cave" i.e. his garage. Mike will forever be remembered by his daughter Renee' Gosney (Ken Bartley), son Shane Watson (Becky), Granddaughters Rachel Gosney & Meagan Gosney (Gil Guthrie), and his Grandsons Ty Watson & Will Watson. Mike lived for his grandchildren and was so proud of them. He shared this as often as he could with whomever would listen. Mike's feisty personality and determined spirit will be missed by all of his family and friends. There will be no funeral service as it was Mike's wishes to have a private ceremony with immediate family only where his ashes will be spread in one of this favorite places at the farm. Memorial donations in memory and celebration of Mike's life can be made to St, Joseph Home. Click on link below or checks can be mailed to St. Joseph Home 10722 Wyscarver Rd.
