Funeral services for Hogan Janet “Shortie” Bellah, 77, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Paulson officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Kyle Keeling, Douglas Allen Calahan, Billy Lynn Calahan, John Dillon Lee Green, William Austin Skiles, and Aaron Ray Skiles. Honorary pallbearers are Cail Dalton Keeling, Travis Yager, and Justin Yager. Shortie passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in White Settlement, Texas. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 21, 1943, the daughter of Dottie Mae (Terrett) and Hogan Herman Chase. She retired from Cleburne ISD where she worked as a cook. Shortie is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Douglas Jones; second husband, Keith Bellah; son, John Bellah; sister, Connie Barnes; and brother, Bruce Paul. She is survived by her daughters, Tammie Diane Calahan, Darla Kay Cook, and Jennifer Bellah; sisters, Patricia Brown, Sue Duncan, and Sammie O’Neil; seven grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
