The death of Derek Jon Piper of Fredericton, NB occurred Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Charles and Phyllis (Harben) Piper. Survived by his loving wife, Terry (Ackerson) Piper; sister, Charlene Thorhauge (Rolf); Canine buddy, Cooper; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Derek was predeceased by brothers, Alan (Betty) and Gordon Piper; a sister, June Piper. Due to current Covid restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside interment service will be held in the spring at Saint Michael and All Angels Anglican Cemetery, Minto.
