<p>Clinton,</p> <p>Bobby Ray Jackson, born August 23, 1952 in Sampson County, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Sampson Regional Medical Center with his family by his side.</p> <p>A graveside service will be at 3 PM, Saturday, January 23rd, at Clinton City Cemetery with Rev. Kim Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM – 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 23rd at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. Jackson and Lattie Pearl Jackson. </p> <p>Left to cherish his memory are his twin sister, Faye J. Milligan of Clinton; nieces, Michelle Pietrolaj and husband Eddie and Heather M. Tucker and husband Reginald Tucker; great nieces and nephews, Erica Lane, Ashlynn Williams Annadale Williams, Mason Tucker and Jackson Tucker; two great-nieces; and friends, Billy Ray Jackson, Susan and Robert Tew.</p> <p>Ray was a successful and accomplished roofer. He was known by everyone as “Big Ray”. Even though Big Ray was a private person he had a heart of gold. He was always willing to help others. Out of all his accomplishments his greatest was his family. </p> <p>He loved fishing and spending time with his very close friends and cherished every moment. That is the way he chose to spend life.</p> <p>Even though Faye and Ray were twins, Faye says Ray was the apple of Lattie Pearl’s life.</p> <p>Come celebrate his life with us, because as Christians this will be a celebration of life for now he is with our heavenly Father.
