Ralph Clyde Richter

Ralph Clyde Richter, 83, of Connellsville passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his home , while surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 17, 1930 in Indian Head a son of the late Clarence and Nellie Walker Richter. Prior to his retirement Ralph worked as a Millwright for U.S. Steel at in Homestead Works. Ralph was a member of King Solomon's Lodge #346 F&AM, the Odd Fellows General Worth Lodge #386, and the Dunbar Twp. Lions Club. Ralph was also involved as a Scout Leader for the Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Arrow. Ralph was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Connellsville where he served as an Usher. Ralph will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving children Becky Waltman and husband Daniel and children Daniel and his fiancee Libby, and Shelby, Dave Richter and wife Lori and children Ryan, Jessica, and Jared, and Patricia Hall and husband Roy and Children Winter, Amber, and Nicole, his brothers Lloyd Richter and wife Thelma of Connellsville and John Richter and wife Judy of Findlay, OH., and his sister Audrey Childers of Concord NC. In addition to his parents Ralph was predeceased by his wife Sarah M. Fosbrink Richter, a sister Delores I. Eutsey and two brothers Leroy and Richard Richter. Family and friends will be received from 12 - 4 and 6-9 PM Sunday and from 9 - 11 AM Monday the hour of a funeral service, in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St. Connellsville (724-628-1430) with Rev. Dr. Andrew P. Spore officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Franklin Twp.
