Diana Jane Jaster
<p><strong>Diana J. Jaster died in St. George, Utah on January 20, 2021 at the age of 78.</strong></p> <p><strong>She leaves behind her loving husband of 61 years, Thom Jaster.</strong></p> <p><strong>She is preceded by her parents Al and Lucille Cetnarowski and her brother David Cetton. She is survived by husband, her niece Denise (Gary) Michalek, her sister Red Hatters, as well as her close friends Pam and Hazel. Many other friends survive her.</strong></p> <p><strong>Diana was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 8, 1942. Her childhood was marred by medical issues that included many months of confinement to her bed. Once these issues were behind her, she excelled in schoolwork and graduated from High School in just three years at the age of 17. She met her husband-to-be at his welcome-home-from-the-Air-Force-party. She worked for Wisconsin Bell and stayed with the telephone company (and its many name and corporate changes) until retiring after 31 years of service.</strong></p> <p><strong>Diana and her husband moved to Phoenix, AZ where she enjoyed a successful career and social life. Upon her husband’s retirement, they move to St. George, Utah were she continued an active social and volunteer life. </strong></p> <p><strong>Everyone who was lucky enough to know her, will miss her profoundly. Her winning smile, her compassion, her gentle wit, her genuine interest in everyone she met were her trademarks.</strong></p> <p><strong>In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation in Diana’s name to any charity supporting animal welfare. </strong></p> <p><strong>A memorial service will be announced when current health restrictions allow.</strong></p> <p><strong>Condolences may be shared at mcmillanmortuary.com</strong></p> <p> </p>June 8, 1942 - January 20, 202106/08/194201/20/2021
