Allan D. Wilkins, 85, of The Colony's at St. Paul's, Greenville, PA, formerly of 31 Bentley Ave., passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, January 20, 2021 at his residence, following an extended illness.
Allan was born in Erie, PA on April 3, 1935 to the late Donald and Naomi (Holcomb) Wilkins-Benson.
Allan worked for the former Greenville Ambulance Service, Chicago Bridge and Iron Works and retired from the Greenville Hospital as a dietary clerk. He was a former member of the Jamestown Lions Club.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenville but attended church services at St. Paul Homes since moving to The Colony’s.
Allan is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Elaine E. Humes. They were married on October 3, 1964 in Cambridge Springs, PA and she survives at home. Also surviving are brother-in-law George Humes and his wife Irene, of FL, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends Jeff and Barb Knauff of Transfer, PA.
Inurnment: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Columbarium, Greenville.
