Madeleine C Collard

Madeleine “Maddy” (Lamoureux) Collard, 93, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Armand Collard, entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at St. Joseph Living Center in Windham. She was born and raised in Albion, RI on April 25, 1927, daughter of the late Charles and Melvina (Girard) Lamoureux. She later settled in Enfield in 1957 where she and her husband Armand were blessed with three children. Madeleine worked in food service for the Enfield public school system for many years. Outside of work she was active in the Women’s Guild and enjoyed bowling. She was a long time parishioner of Holy Family Church. Her family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Living Center for their attentive and compassionate care of Maddy during her final years.<br>Madeleine is survived by her children, Kenneth Collard and his wife Diane of San Diego, CA, Douglas Collard and his wife Jan of Columbia, CT, and Audrey Fetko and her husband Ed of Northfield, OH; her sister, Gemma Fortier of Pawtucket, RI; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. <br>A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Madeleine at 11 am on Monday January 25, 2021 at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd, Enfield. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St Patrick King St Cemetery. Memorial donations for Madeleine may be made to St. Joseph Living Center, 14 Club Road, Windham, CT 06280.
