Peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, January 14, 2021 the death occurred of John Joseph MacLean of Charlottetown and formerly of Sydney NS and Toronto Ontario, age 78 years. Beloved husband of Joan (MacIntyre) and loving father of Scott (Tammi), Beth MacLean (Catherine) and Joe Stewart (Rose). Cherished grandfather of Kevin and Rachel MacLean and Shannon Stewart. John will be missed by his siblings Dougie (Kathleen), Michael, Ann Marie Atwell, Bernie (Annette), Donald (Ruthie), Mary Atwell, Catherine Quinn, the MacIntyre Family and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Predeceased by his parents John Joseph and Mary Ann (Currie) MacLean, sister-in-law Leona MacLean and brother -in-law Norman Atwell. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. No visitation or funeral service by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Prince Edward Island.January 14, 202101/14/2021
