<p>Francis Albert Browning, 82, of Spray, Oregon passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021.&nbsp; There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Haystack Cemetery in Spray.&nbsp;</p><p>Francis was born on November 3, 1938 in Ontario, Oregon to Fred Allen and Eva Charlotta (Rodrick) Browning.&nbsp; He attended school through the 10<sup>th</sup> grade in Granger, Washington and then went on to get his GED in Denver, Colorado.</p><p>He was a logging and sawmill worker, made light fixtures, builder and building contractor during his working years.</p><p>Francis did building projects for native American mission schools and Mexican orphanages.&nbsp; He loved native American pottery, old tractors, bird watching and traveling in the United States of America.</p><p>He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his wife Donna, grandson Charlie Browning, and his brothers; James and Robert, and his sisters; Grace and Alyce.</p><p>Francis is survived by his children; Allen Browning, Ern Waters, Ron Browning, Ann Waters, Elaine Pierce, Marguerite Perman.</p><p>Whispering Pines Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements 3168 NE 3<sup>rd</sup> Street – Prineville, Oregon&nbsp; 97754&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 541-416-9733<br></p>

Obituary

Francis Albert Browning, 82, of Spray, Oregon passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021.  There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Haystack Cemetery in Spray. 

Francis was born on November 3, 1938 in Ontario, Oregon to Fred Allen and Eva Charlotta (Rodrick) Browning.  He attended school through the 10th grade in Granger, Washington and then went on to get his GED in Denver, Colorado.
