Mary "Nonna" Wells

Mary “Nonna” Wells, 83, of Hot Springs, passed away January 18, 2021. She was born November 15, 1937 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Joseph and Rosalee (Ragusa) Giardina. She passed away late Monday night with her family around her. Nonna was a wonderful lady with a huge heart who never met a stranger, especially if they were wearing a Saints or LSU jersey. She was a proud Italian woman who loved cooking, her New Orleans Saints, her huge family, and talking with her hands. You could find her every Saints game day, sitting on the floor in front of the TV, cheering on her Saints. Above all, her biggest love was her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Albert Wells. Loving survivors include daughter Sandy Brown (Tracy); grandchildren Dustin (Ashleigh), Linsey (Calvin), Chelsey (Dylan), and Cassi (Nathan); and great-grandchildren Carson and Channing. A rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with a mass of Christian burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Tracy Brown, Dustin Brown, Calvin Alexander, Nathan Calcagno, Dylan Roeck, and Carson Bailey.
