<p>Ellis Lee Bell was born November 3, 1964 to his parents Grover and Georgia Bell in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Ellis entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 56.<br /> <br /> Ellis was a very quiet and private person with the biggest heart for making sure he took care of everyone in his presence. When he was around, he was the life of the party, always cracking jokes even during the most serious moments. He always found a way to make everyone laugh.<br /> <br /> He was a graduate of Northeast High School in North Little Rock and attended 2 years at Southern Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on a full basketball scholarship and transferred to the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas as an avid basketball player.<br /> <br /> Ellis started his career at Melton Company in May of 1987 with Ellis Presley Melton (38 years). He was well respected by his co-workers and respected by all. He had so many customer/friends across the state that he never met in person, but they always knew his voice when he called them over 33 years. The outpouring of phone calls and text of people he worked with from all over the state in the funeral business has been overwhelming. His dedication and incredible service for his job was like no other. He was very blessed to have so many people to love him.<br /> <br /> He was definitely a momma&rsquo;s boy and his oldest daughter&rsquo;s best friend. They did everything together from family vacations to casino trips, early morning Walmart runs, and oh the famous crab feasts.<br /> <br /> Ellis is preceded in death by his father and his brother, Grover Bell, Jr.<br /> <br /> Ellis leaves to cherish his memories, his two daughters, Caress (Terry Holman, Jr.) Bell of North Little Rock and Cheyenne Harris of Bedford, Texas; one son, Brandon Malvin of North Little Rock; two brothers, Donald (Cami) Bell of Temple, Arizona and Paul Smith Bell of North Little Rock; two sister, Julia Rhodes and Wilma Jean (David) White of North Little Rock; Jana DeGeorge; seven grandchildren and other close relatives and dear friends. Mr. Bell will lie in state January 22, 2021 1-5 pm at Superior. Graveside service January 23, 2021 11:00 am at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery 8507 Hwy 161 North Little Rock. Ellis Lee Bell was born November 3, 1964 to his parents Grover and Georgia Bell in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Ellis entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 56.

Ellis was a very quiet and private person with the biggest heart for making sure he took care of everyone in his presence. When he was around, he was the life of the party, always cracking jokes even during the most serious moments. He always found a way to make everyone laugh.

He was a graduate of Northeast High School in North Little Rock and attended 2 years at Southern Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on a full basketball scholarship and transferred to the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas as an avid basketball player.

Ellis started his career at Melton Company in May of 1987 with Ellis Presley Melton (38 years). He was well respected by his co-workers and respected by all. He had so many customer/friends across the state that he never met in person, but they always knew his voice when he called them over 33 years. The outpouring of phone calls and text of people he worked with from all over the state in the funeral business has been overwhelming. His dedication and incredible service for his job was like no other. He was very blessed to have so many people to love him.
