Glenda Lynne Appel, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021 at the age of 82. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Nathan Appel, her children Larry Jay Appel and Caren Beth Appel, her sister Leah Cohen, her grandchildren Heidi Appel (fiancé Chris Sontag), Ryan and Kayla Appel, her great-grandchildren Austin Appel, Sarah Appel, and Aaliyah Appel, her nieces and nephews Lynne Cohen Daniels, Rachel Bernstein, Eric Bernstein, Leah Schwartz, Howard Gottlieb, and Jodye Smeal Gottlieb. She was predeceased by her nephew, Lewis Cohen, her brother, Stanley Bernstein, and her parents, Hilda Appel and Louis Bernstein.

Glenda savored every minute of life and put others before herself. She was a loving wife, mother, grandparent and great-grandparent; truly the Matriarch of our family.
