David Joseph Horn Obituary

David Joseph Horn (64) passed away unexpectedly at home on the morning of January 11, 2021. Dave was born and raised in Seattle Washington and never felt the need to venture far from home. Even the retirement getaway he was building was no more than 50 miles away. Dave shared his home in Shoreline with his girlfriend Peggy. They loved to eat dinners out and attend Dave’s favorite hobby; car shows. Dave’s first love was his 1963 Chevy impala he got when he was 16 years old and he still has parts for it all over his garage. In fact, Dave was a car fanatic and was always on the lookout for the next great deal. He participated in and went to car shows as his favorite hobby. Dave was also a skilled carpenter; he started training while still attending Ballard High School. Dave was not only considered an amazing friend and coworker by CDR Design Build and the CDR Team; he was considered an integral part of their success and growth. David is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Leona Horn; sister, Midget Spotted Eagle, and niece, Monica Jean Horn. David is survived by his daughter Leah Gardner (Mike); grandson, Dimahri Stenson; sisters: Mary Crawford, Diana Posey, Carol Horn, Judy Hartlove (Michael), and Doreen Horn; as well as many nieces and nephews. David will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with family and close friends.
