ANTONIA LARA LOZANO Antonia Lara Lozano, 85, a longtime resident of the Cornelius community, died Wednesday morning, January 20, 2021 at Pacific Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tigard. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Alexander Catholic Church, 170 N. 10th Avenue in Cornelius, with Fr. David Schiferl, celebrant. Rite of Christian Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Park, 3809 S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway in Hillsboro. ANTONIA LARA LOZANO was born July 30, 1935 in Cotulla, Texas, the daughter of the late Jose Lara and Juanita Lara. She was raised in Cotulla Texas. She was united in marriage to Antonio Lozano on 1951. Following their marriage, they resided in the communities of Cotulla, Texas and McFarland, California until 1964 when, moved to the Cornelius community, where she had resided since. Antonia was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio, in 2005 after celebrating over 54 years of marriage together. She had worked as a farm laborer in the agriculture industry for many years, until she retired. Antonia was an active member of St. Alexander parish in Cornelius. Among her special interests, she enjoyed cooking, listening to music and dancing. Antonia was also preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Juanita Lara and sons David Lara, Nolberto Lozano, Rudy Lozano. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Delia Lozano of Beaverton, Oregon; Juan & Yolanda Lozano of Eugene, Oregon; Paul Lozano of Hillsboro, Oregon; Roy Lozano of Cornelius, Oregon; Librada & Eloy Andrade of Forest Grove, Oregon. Also surviving are her 24 grandchildren, and her 44 great- grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren.
