Anthony (Tony) M. Filippi, age 45, of Canal Winchester, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Tony was born August 17, 1975 and grew up in Pickerington, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Amy (Shuler) Filippi; his parents, Jim and Deloris Filippi; brother, Jim (Kelli) Filippi; nieces, Brandi, Lindsi and Natali Filippi. Amy’s parents Gordon and Kathy Shuler; sisters, Samantha Shuler (Michael Beekhuizen) and Megan Shuler (Anthony Hall); nephew, Theodore Beekhuizen and niece, Olivia Williams.

Tony was a wonderful man that never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was an enthusiastic pool player that loved going to Sunday night pool league and hanging out with his friends. Tony was an avid Las Vegas Raiders fan and supported the team in many ways, but his iconic leg tattoo will not be forgotten. He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved dogs, Miesha and Nakita. He will be greatly missed and will be forever loved. A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.

Family and Friends may visit the 4-7:00pm on Friday, January 22, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A private service for family will be from 10-11am on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Masks are required in the funeral home and social distancing must be observed.
