Conran, who passed away in 2008. She was the last surviving sibling of the late John, Helen, Margaret, William, Marie, Kay, and Frances. Dear sister-in-law of James Simpkins and Vincent Salceto. Surviving Genevieve are her four children: John (Patricia) Santarpio, Joanne (Francis) Schoettle, Gina Walsh, and Coleen (Michael) Root. She was the loving grandmother of Lisa (Francis) Convery, Gina (Bryan) Manion, Trisha Zazenski, Erica (Steve) Allen, Allison Walsh (Michael), Lindsay (Nicholas) Uva, Michael Root Jr., Anthony Root  the late John Santarpio.  Additionally, she was the loving great grandmother to Steven Allen Jr., Julia Zazenski, Abigail Manion, James Zazenski, Francis Convery, Jake Manion, Jackson Zazenski, Vanessa Otterson, Olivia Uva, and Nicholas Uva Jr.

Jean grew up in Schuylkill before marrying and moving to Grays Ferry where she started her family. After raising her children with her husband Anthony, Jean then moved to West Wildwood, NJ where she worked at Margaret Mace Elementary School until officially retiring. After many years of family enjoyment at her home in West Wildwood with her family and friends, Jean suffered the loss of her beloved husband Anthony and relocated to the Andorra section of Philadelphia to reside for the remainder of her life. Nan, as she was so affectionately called by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at their home in West Wildwood. She had many hobbies including playing Bingo, taking trips to the casino, shopping, and testing her luck with the lottery. These various activities meant so much to her because they were always done while in the company of her loved ones, which made any outing special to her. Throughout Jean’s life, she faced many obstacles which tested her fortitude, and all of which she fought courageously and demonstrated her strong will.
