Betty Zon Tate

CASA GRANDE - Betty Zon Tate, 88, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 9, 2015, at Family Tree Assisted Living. Mrs. Tate was born on Jan. 10, 1927, in Keota, Oklahoma, and was a daughter of Estel J. McElroy and Erma V. Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of CrossRoads Church and was dedicated to her family and her church. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, DeTroy "Dee"; three sons, Lonnie Tate of Show Low, Terry and Tim Tate of Casa Grande; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Troy Tate; three brothers; and two sisters. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Pastor Tim Hill officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
