<p>Donna Ryno Goodwin completed her tasks on earth and was promoted to her heavenly home on January 19, 2021 at Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas.&nbsp; A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Wortham at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Chris Rowe and Reverend Gary Smith officiating.&nbsp;</p> <p>Donna was born on March 8, 1955 in Mexia, Texas to Harley Eugene (Horace) Ryno and Billye Nell (Hosea) Ryno.&nbsp; Donna was retired from the Wortham ISD, having been employed there for 22 years.&nbsp; She was active in all of her children&rsquo;s activities as they were growing up including Girl Scouts, Wortham Baseball Association and always at the First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for 20 years.&nbsp; She never missed a program or a game that her children participated in. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely.&nbsp;</p> <p>Donna married her high school sweetheart, Mike Goodwin, on May 25, 1974, the day after high school graduation.&nbsp; They have enjoyed over 46 years together, having traveled many places and seeing many sights, always together.</p> <p>She was preceded to Heaven by her father, Harley Ryno and grandparents Jesse &amp; Alice Ryno and Millard &amp; Winnie Hosea.&nbsp; She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Goodwin of Wortham; daughter, Jillian Goodwin Fleming &amp; husband Keith of Wortham; sons, Chris Goodwin &amp; wife, Elizabeth of Wortham and Stephen Goodwin &amp; wife, Jillian of Sugar Land; mother, Billye Ryno of Wortham; brother, Terry Ryno &amp; wife, Denise of Wortham; sister, Lisa Van of Wortham and six grandchildren, Tristen, Jeffery, Ainsley, Haylee, Nora and Charlotte.&nbsp; She adored them all.</p> <p>The family would like to thank family and friends for the outpouring of prayers and love during this time of loss.&nbsp; &nbsp;1st Thessalonians 4:14</p> <p>The family ask that everyone in attendance adhere to social distancing and also wear a mask.</p>
