<p>James Michael Harvey, 68, passed away January 18, 2021. James was born August 16, 1952. Jim was an avid fisherman. He and his long-time friend, Bill Ellis, spent many times fishing. James worked in the oil fields for a number of years. He also dedicated his services as a truck driver for Neff Trucking Co. and Putnam Transfer. Jim also enjoyed golfing, often playing with the Licking View gang.<br /> James was an avid collector of local Indian arrowheads. He was a 1969 graduate of West Muskingum High School. James later went on to serve in the National Guard before receiving his honorable discharge.<br /> Jim is preceded in death by his significant other, Linda Kraus; his mother, Anna (Murphy) Harvey; father, Thomas Harvey; sister, Carolyn Sue (Harvey) Tarleton; and his special cat, Kit.<br /> James leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved daughter, Annie Herman; grandchildren, Triston L. McClain, Joely M. McClain, and Dakota James Wiltshire; brother, George E. Harvey; sister, Sharron Jo (Harvey) Hayes; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.<br /> Per Jim&#39;s wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. Anyone so inclined may make donations in Jim&#39;s honor to Genesis Hospice. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.</p>
