Ms. Elaine P. Speed Scott, 59, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Southern Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Piedmont, SC.

She is survived by her daughter, Latoya Scott; one son, Patrick Scott; four grandchildren; two sisters, Ranzella Speed Greenlee and Felicia Speed; three brothers, Hosea Speed, Jr., Roosevelt Speed, and Orlando Speed; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hosea Speed, Sr. and Leona Latimer Speed; and one sister, Lida Bell Speed.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.   The interment will follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery. 

Friends may pay their respects and send floral arrangements on Saturday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
