<p>Lon Webster, age 71 of Las Vegas, NV passed away on January 13, 2021.&nbsp; He was born on February 8, 1949 in Detroit, MI to Roy John Webster and Doris Mildred Clausen Webster.&nbsp; Lon served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.&nbsp; During his three tours in Vietnam Lon received many awards including two purple hearts.&nbsp; Lon married Carol Zuccaro in New Baltimore on April 5, 1997. They moved to Las Vegas in 2004 from Detroit.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Lon enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and being highly involved in many Veterans organizations.&nbsp; He was a 50-year member of the VFW and served in many rolls over the years including: Post Commander, also member of State Committees.&nbsp; He was with John Lukac Post 12093 a Gold Star Post.&nbsp; He was with American Legion Post 149, and with Vietnam Veterans of America. He was known by the VFW Riders as &ldquo;Pills&rdquo; and also rode with the Patriots Guard.&nbsp; He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved his Golden Nights Hockey Team.&nbsp; He also enjoyed the Las Vegas Life Style playing poker and visiting the casinos and playing the slot machines.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Lon is survived by his wife Carol Webster; five sons James (Kelly) Webster, Lon Christopher (Deb) Webster, Nicholas (Sonya) Webster, Donald (Paula) Zuccaro, Steven (Emily) Zuccaro; a sister Connie Webster and seven grandchildren.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Lon was cremated and the family has chosen to hold off on services at this time.&nbsp; They will announce services at a later date when they can give Lon a proper tribute.
