Lucas Leingang, 77, Mandan, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at CHI St Alexius, Bismarck. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021, at DaWise-Perry / Mandan Crematory, with Deacon Dennis Rohr officiating. Friends and family will gather one hour prior to the service at DaWise Perry. Inurnment will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. Lucas was born August 11, 1943, at Selfridge, ND, to Philip and Barbara (Berger) Leingang. He was raised and educated in Selfridge and graduated from Fort Yates High School. You could always find him tinkering in his garage working on motors or at the races. He is survived by his brother Robert (Paula) Leingang; sister, Maggie Schlosser; sister-in-law Florence Leingang; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucas was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother Florian; sister Theresa (Bob) Thomas; brother Leonard Leingang; brother-in-law Tom Schlosser.
