A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, she was born in Brundidge, AL on August 30, 1939. She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Ray; her brother, Joe M. Ray; her mother, Annie Ray Steed; her stepfather, Murray Steed; and her adoring husband of 26 years, James Harsha. Ramona is survived by four children, Lisa Ann Fleming (Keith), Joe Scott Thrash, Gina Lee Westover (Rob), and Melody Nelson (Jim). She was a cherished “Grammy” to eight grandchildren: Christian Thrash, Hunter Russell, Colbi Thrash, Karah Fleming, Hadden Langley, Isabel Fleming, Skyler Graves, and Sawyer Nelson; and two great grandchildren, Braxton and Eden Grae. Being a mother and grandmother brought Ramona the greatest joy of her life. A godly woman who lived her life with the utmost faith, Ramona had a heart for people and was loving, kind, and caring. A lover of all things pink and sparkly, she enjoyed crafting, reading, and listening to all types of music. Ramona will be remembered for her sweet personality, her cute sense of humor, and for the way she loved God. She will be dearly missed, but there is peace in knowing that she is at home with Jesus.
