Loddie D. Williamson, 78, of Valley Grande, AL died on January 18, 2021 after a lengthy illness.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2021 with a service beginning at 2:00 in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Artie Plummer officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens.

He fought a good fight and he kept the faith. He was active in Gideon’s International and a faithful member of Westwood Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hardie Dave Williamson; mother, Alma Leona Williamson; sons, Ronald Dave Williamson and Randall Scott Williamson; brother, Bobby James Williamson; brother-in-law, Junior Allen Hall; niece, Janice Carol Phelps and nephew, Kristopher Ryan Williamson.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Frances E. Williamson; sons, Donald Carl (Christy) Williamson and Danny Joe (Sara) Williamson; grandchildren, Jessica (Quinton) Preston, Jordan (Alan) Jackson, Justin (Kayla) Williamson, Caeley Williamson, Nick (Lydia) Hill, Sarah (Matt) McKee and others; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Francis Elizabeth Hall; brothers, Billy Wayne (Pearl) Williamson and Kenneth Ray (Melissann) Williamson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Justin Williamson, Kenny Williamson, Jr., Bobby Girlie, Carl Smith, Bill Lolley, Matt McKee and Scott Girlie.
