Diane C. Van Rite, 65, De Pere, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021. She was born January 23, 1955 to the late Donald and Elaine Johnson. She graduated from St. Philip the Apostle Grade School, Green Bay, and Preble High School. Diane worked at Ft. Howard before returning home to raise her three children. After the kids got older, she went on to work at Shopko and Associated Bank before retiring in 2014. She enjoyed riding horses, raising her flowers during the summer, bowling, playing rummy and sheepshead, and always looked forward to visiting with friends and family, especially the get togethers with her classmates from St. Philips. Being a Grandma was her greatest pride. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Van Rite and son Matt (Samantha) Van Rite. Two grandchildren; Alivia and Alaina, as well as her siblings; Donald (Cheryl Schoen) Johnson, Terri (Neal) Lueders, and Todd (Kerri) Van Rite – Walsh) Johnson. He beloved yorkie Bella, nieces, nephews, and friends further survive. Diane was preceded in death by her son Adam Van Rite and her parents. Friends may visit after 5:00PM Thursday January 28, 2021 at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, until time of service at 7:00PM with Deacon Mike Vander Bloomen officiating.
