Joanne Lee Ridinger

Joanne Lee Ridinger, 86, of Newburyport, died on January 13, 2021 at Avita at Newburyport after a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife to the late Cecil Ray Ridinger with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Joanne and Ray were longtime residents of the Hamilton-Wenham, Massachusetts community. Born in Denver, Colorado to John and Agnes (Anderson) Moderegger. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Salem State College. Joanne was an avid gardener, an artist and quilter. Joanne is survived by her son Michael of Hanover NH; her two daughters Leslie Janes and her husband Jonathan of South Hamilton and Jan Fahey and her husband Larry of Newburyport; sister Christine McKnight of Palm Springs, CA; her 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased in death by her son Jeffrey Ridinger. A memorial service for Joanne will be held on July 17, 2021 final details not determined as of yet. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly.
