Norma Jean Dawson Stapleton 1928-2021 Norma Stapleton, 92, of Grayson, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was born April 22, 1928, in Coshocton, OH; a daughter of the late Walter Clinton and Mildred Lucy Roadrick Dawson . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Everman Stapleton, a son, Mark Stapleton and a grandson, Michael Stapleton. She was of the Christian faith and had worked as a secretary in the Stapleton Insurance Agency. She is survived by a son, Bret (Glenna) Stapleton of Olive Hill; two daughters, Kathy Jo (Earl Jr.) Kiser of Springhill, TN and Bernadette (Paul) Brown of Smyrna, TN; six grandchildren, Kayla (Billy), Heather (Marc), Julianna, Kelli, Aaron (Michelle) and Nicole; seven great-grandchildren a daughter-in-law, Teri Stapleton. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Landon Copley and William Logan, ministers. Burial will follow in the Everman Cemetery at Gregoryville. Visitation will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
