Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 10:00am, Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity Interment Details Holy Trinity Cemetery Lowell - Julia Kowalski, 92 died September 9, 2010 at Wingate Nursing Center in Lowell. She was born in Lowell on November 1, 1917, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Gazda) Kowalski. Julia lived her entire life in Lowell, except for a brief time during her childhood when she lived in Poland. She attended both St. Stanislaus School and Lowell Public School. Julia was employed for more than 40 years at the Irving Stitcher Company where she worked as an Inspector and Hand Presser. She is survived by three nieces Anne Openshaw of Florida, Rose Blondin and her husband Frederick of Methuen, and Judith Stiff of Texas; one nephew John Kowalski of New Hampshire; several cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by two brothers Stanley J. Kowalski and John "Buster" Kowalski; a sister-in-law Rose Kowalski and her lifelong companion Theadore "Teddy" Niedziela. It being her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in the Cathloic Church of the Holy Trinity, Lowell. Interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell. Arrangements entrusted to the care of DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue DRACUT. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
