Carl W. Heinrich Obituary

Carl W. Heinrich, 65, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of January 16, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born July 24, 1955 in New Castle, he was the son of Robert and Anna Mae (Rorison) Heinrich. Carl was a graduate of Penn State University. He was a partner at Almega Plastics, and former employee for West Penn Plastics. Carl was an avid golfer and secretary for the Sylvan Heights golf league. He was a member of the KP Club, the Sons of Italy where he participated in the softball league and was a member of multiple bowling leagues. He enjoyed traveling to Florida and spending time with his family. He is survived by two brothers, James R. Heinrich of Pittsburgh and John S. Heinrich and wife Karen, Carl’s favorite sister-in-law, of South Carolina; one sister, Mary Lou Heinrich of Pittsburgh; nieces Camille Heinrich-Ledsome of New Castle and Kaye Heinrich of Pittsburgh; nephew John R. Heinrich and wife Cara of New Castle; and his beloved great-nephews and “bestest” pals, Wyatt and Gunner. In addition to his family, he is survived by many beloved friends and faithful employees. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas A. Heinrich. Private services will be held for the family at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. of New Castle followed by a burial at Graceland Cemetery.
